NIAGARA WINE TRAIL RACE #6
BARKER, NY: BlackBird Cider Works - Please join us on Sunday August 13, 2023 for race #6 of the 2023 Niagara Wine Trail Summer Running Series! The race series is being brought to you by iRun WNY. This spectacular new running series will take place at a variety of great local wineries/cideries across Niagara County.

START/FINISH
This unique 5K trail run will start and finish at the beautiful BlackBird Cidery in Barker, New York entirely on cidery property. We have designed a beautiful 3 loop course through the orchards and groomed property trails. There will be one water station located at the split and bottled water will be provided to participants at the finish line.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place out in front of the cidery from 9:30 am right up until the start of the race at 11:00 am. Your registration fee includes a custom Niagara Wine Trail USA race bib, free glass of BlackBird cider, choice of gift (to be announced), professional timing & finish line services, post race snacks & bottled water at the finish line, music, and more!BlackBird Cider Works 5K Run/Walk Registration

POST RACE CELEBRATIONJoin us after the race for what is sure to become one of the most unique 5K post race celebrations in Western New York! Race participants will enjoy spectacular views, great music, and of course the winery will be open for business throughout the event!PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking available on BlackBird property (grass parking) and along the roadway.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers. Age group winners (see below) will be recognized. All participants will be able to print out custom finisher certificates from home after the race and download/share finish line photos.
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc), we want runners to know up front that we reserve the right to reschedule the race or convert to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
